Coronavirus Preparedness in Global Banking & Finance

Financial institutions play a central systemic role in maintaining the health of our economy.  Confidence in the sector is necessary to everyday functioning of markets to allow us all to go about our lives in a secure uninterrupted manner. The flow of investments and liquidity is vital to normal operations elsewhere.

Protecting financial sector employees health requires special consideration given the systemic risks we face when institutions come under threat.  Coronavirus or COVID 19 represents such a threat. Pandemic preparedness is a government requirement for certain firms and a best practice for all.  Resilience is a function of preparedness.  Firms that have up to date plans will reduce the impact of the coronavirus outbreak on their employees, sustain service provision and instil confidence in investors and other stakeholders.

That’s why we give you the option to do both by providing both the ‘live stream’ access log in details and post event recordings for you to watch at your own pace. You can also share these log in details and recordings with as many people across your own organisation as you wish. You don’t all need to be in the same place to ‘join live’ either. Our Course Leader:

Dr Jonathan O Keeffe, MRCGP, OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor, MBA.

Dr O’Keeffe is an International Healthcare Specialist.  He was actively involved with universities, banks, oil and gas, mining, utilities companies and other institutions during the H1N1, Ebola and MERS global outbreaks.  As a former International SOS Regional Medical Director, he specialises in site health review and institutional health risk mitigation.  In 2015, as an advisor to employers at the ILO, he helped to develop the first UN global extreme remote worker occupational health and safety guidance.
